Job Description

Coda Search is partnering with a leading asset manager with offices located in NYC. The firm has over $100BN AUM and operates across multiple strategies, including alternatives.

As the credit platform continues to expand, the firm is seeking to hire a Vice President, Product Specialist within the Capital Formation team. This role will sit at the intersection of investment teams, investor relations, and capital markets and will play a key role in supporting fundraising, investor engagement, and product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support fundraising initiatives for the credit platform, partnering with senior members of the Capital Formation and Investor Relations teams.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the investment team and institutional investors, helping communicate strategy performance, portfolio developments, and market positioning.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end syndication process for investment opportunities, including preparing marketing materials, managing investor outreach, and tracking commitments.
  • Oversee the co-investment process, including deal coordination, investor communications, allocation management, and execution timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain investor-facing materials, including pitch decks, fund updates, and investment strategy presentations.
  • Support the preparation of DDQs, RFPs, and ad-hoc investor requests.
  • Analyze portfolio performance, investment pipeline activity, and capital deployment across ABF strategies.
  • Work closely with investment teams, capital markets, investor relations, and operations to support product strategy execution.

Qualifications

  • 6\+ years of experience within asset management, private credit, investment banking, capital markets, or investor relations.
  • Experience working with structured credit, asset-based finance, private credit, or securitized products is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting fundraising, syndications, co-investments, or investor relations.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to interpret portfolio performance and deal pipelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality investor materials.
