Job Description

Role Profile: Warehouse \& Operations Associate

Focus: Operational Execution, Inventory Integrity, and Field Support

I. The Professional Mindset

  • Reliability \& Consistency: You are the "engine" of the daily operation. Your value is found in your ability to show up, execute the plan to a high standard, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Learning \& Adaptability: You approach every day with a growth mindset. You are focused on mastering the current systems and providing feedback on how to make them better.
  • The "Detail" Lens: Success isn't just finishing the job; it’s finishing the job without a scratch on the furniture or a tool left behind. You notice the small things before they become big problems.

II. Core Areas of Ownership1\. Logistics Execution \& Field Coordination

  • Executing the Plan: You take the daily schedule and ensure it happens. This means verifying the truck is loaded correctly for the specific job and that the crew is briefed on the day’s goals.
  • Lead Hand On-Site: While on-site, you act as the "point person" for the moving crew. You ensure the team stays on task, follows safety protocols, and represents the brand with professional energy.
  • On-the-Fly Adjustments: When a sofa doesn't fit in an elevator or a parking spot is blocked, you are the first line of defense—troubleshooting the physical "how-to" and keeping the team moving.

2\. Warehouse Organization \& Standards

  • Inventory Stewardship: You take pride in a clean, organized warehouse. You ensure every piece of furniture is wrapped properly, returned to its designated zone, and handled with "white-glove" care to extend its lifespan.
  • System Adherence: You follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for packing and loading. You help ensure the warehouse stays "tour-ready" by clearing aisles, managing trash, and flagging items that need repair.
  • Kit Readiness: You own the "Staging Packs." You ensure that every truck leaves with the correct tools, hardware, and supplies so the design team never has to stop working because of a missing screw or lightbulb.

3\. Fleet Upkeep

  • Daily Readiness: You are responsible for the "pre-flight" status of the trucks. This includes checking fuel, ensuring moving blankets are folded and ready, and keeping the cabs clean and professional.
  • Condition Monitoring: You keep a close eye on the health of the vehicles. You are responsible for reporting any new noises, low fluids, or maintenance needs to ensures repairs can be made before a breakdown occurs.

4\. Design Team Support

  • The "How-To" Partner: You work closely with our designers on-site. Your job is to make their vision possible by safely placing furniture, hanging art, or moving heavy items, all while maintaining a calm and helpful presence.
  • Quality Control: You are the final set of eyes on the furniture before it’s "set" in a home. You ensure items are clean, stable, and looking their best for the final presentation.

Pay: $22\.00 - $25\.00 per hour
