Warehouse Logistics Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 3PL warehouse locations. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience managing 3PL operations, order execution, inbound/outbound logistics, rate negotiations, routing execution, road \& rail solutions, space planning, order fulfillment, and customer service. This hands-on role will manage daily execution of our 3PL warehouse locations. Additional skills include strong individual ownership, innovative problem solving, data analysis, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct 3PL warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate operational execution.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound inventory flows to optimize inventory availability across multiple 3PL locations.
• Lead 3PL shipping execution per retailor routing guides, compliance, and shipping standards.
• Actively negotiate FTL, LTL, Small Parcel rates with various carriers ensuring cost effective and on-time delivery.
• Manage space and capacity planning to optimize 3PL warehouse productivity.
• Supervise order fulfillment to ensure shipping executes on time and complete.
• Guide inventory control processes, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Lead creative logistics solutions to navigate challenges, improve on-time delivery, and elevate customer service.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.
• Monitor 3PL warehouse standards ensuring clean and productive warehouse environment.
• Coordinate effectively with Account Managers, Production, \& Inventory Planning ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
• Implement and monitor warehouse performance metrics to measure \& drive chargeback recovery.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize storage and retrieval processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse execution and operations team management.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Outstanding data management with high level O365 \& Excel functionality.
• Strong inventory control and process improvement skills.
• Superior customer service communication.
• Excellent team leadership and communication abilities.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
• OSHA Safety Certification is beneficial.
