GoGreater Branding \& Marketing is a full-service branding and digital marketing agency that builds websites, e-commerce stores and digital experiences for businesses across multiple industries.
We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Web Developer who is eager to learn and build modern websites using WordPress and Shopify.
Qualification:
BTech or BCA
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Assist in building and maintaining Shopify stores.
- Create landing pages for marketing campaigns.
- Customize themes, layouts and website sections as required.
- Install and configure plugins and apps.
- Update website content, images and products.
- Optimize web pages for speed, performance and user experience.
- Perform website maintenance, backups and routine updates.
- Identify and fix basic website issues and bugs.
- Coordinate with designers and digital marketers to implement website requirements.
- Ensure websites are responsive, fast and user-friendly.
- Generate or edit basic website visuals using AI image generation tools and design software where required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of PHP and WordPress.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins and page builders (Elementor preferred).
- Basic understanding of Shopify and its admin panel.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Basic understanding of website hosting, domains and DNS.
- Familiarity with Git is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Personal, college or freelance projects demonstrating website development.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Technical SEO (broken links, redirects, metadata, sitemap, robots.txt, schema basics, Core Web Vitals and common website SEO issues) is a plus.
- Basic image generation and editing skills for website banners, graphics and visual assets using AI tools or design software.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot to improve productivity is a plus.
