Position Purpose
This position ensures that our company’s image is reflected in our equipment’s appearance and condition. This position is responsible for maintaining our high standards of safety and extending the life of our assets.

Requirements:
Essential Functions
- Inspect vehicles to determine adjustments and repairs that are needed and reassembled equipment to keep vehicles repaired, safe, and in good working condition.
- Fabricate, paint, assemble, or disassemble vehicles using hand, power tools, shop machines, and equipment.
- Look up and understand manufacturer's specifications, technical bulletins, and service/repair manuals.
- Follow vehicle repair procedures.
- Use and maintain welding machines and equipment.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently over extended periods of time and in groups within the scope of established rules and regulations.
- Ability to apply knowledge in multiple areas of vehicle body repair and materials.
- Ability to determine the type of tool and equipment needed to do a job
- Ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators top make sure a machine is working properly.
- Ability to identify, gather, and analyze information, exhibit sound and accurate judgement, and make timely decisions.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of an automotive training program.
- Vocational or technical school preferred.
- Valid FL driver’s license with acceptable driving record for the past three years.
- Two years of body and painting experience.
Other Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing.
- Chest X-ray at hire and annually per OSHA standards.
- Must supply own tools and toolboxes. Tools must meet or exceed the minimum tool list.
