Welder

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and a good eye for precision in. This role involves working on a variety of metal projects, requiring a combination of technical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Key Responsibilities:*""
• Perform MIG and FCAW welding on mild steel.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine material requirements.
• Weld steel parts and structures according to project specifications and dimensions.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of welds and fabricated parts through thorough inspections.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and shop foreman to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with welding equipment and make minor repairs as needed.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder using MIG and FCAW.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Ability to read tape measure and fillet gages.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Certification in welding or the ability to obtain is a plus.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
