Welding Engineer

to join an innovative team developing next-generation

autonomous robotic welding systems

. This is an exciting opportunity to combine welding expertise with advanced robotics and AI technology.

What You’ll Do

• Develop weld parameters for new customer applications (voltage, wire speed, travel speed)
• Partner with robotics engineers to automate weld paths and motion planning
• Perform robotic welding tests involving sensors, inspection systems, and new hardware
• Fabricate test coupons for R\&D and feasibility studies
• Operate an advanced AI-powered robotic welding cell
• Perform manual welding and sample prep when needed
• Travel 30%–50% to support customers on-site

What You Bring

• 3\+ years of robotic welding experience in manufacturing
• Experience with

Yaskawa, ABB, KUKA, or Fanuc

robots

• Strong knowledge of welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Skilled in

GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW

processes

• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Experience with

Design of Experiments (DoE)

preferred

• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation
